Fast and safe assembly for large PV module formats

Ernst Schweizer AG and its subsidiary, DOMA Solartechnik GmbH, are expanding their range of solar mounting systems MSP-FR for flat roofs, enabling the installation of larger PV module formats.

As a new addition to the range of East/West (MSP-FR-EW) and South (MSP-FR-S) for flat roof systems module widths up to 1205 mm, two new connection channels and a version of the low support that has already been tried and tested in the system have recently been added. “With the new connection channels, we are closely following market developments and have reacted quickly to the new requirements of larger module formats,” says Head of Sales for MSP Marion Fiege.

The new connection channels MSP-FR-EW-C: 1076 mm - 1140 mm and MSP-FR-EW-C: 1141 mm - 1205 mm are available now, as is the matching SL8 support with a nominal 8° elevation angle. This means that wider module types can now also be mounted easily and quickly using the proven flat-roof mounting system MSP from Schweizer.

As usual, the layout can be configured quickly, safely and conveniently with the help of Schweizer’s Solar.Pro.Tool, or SPT for short.

Innovative middle clamp

The MSP-PR-MCG middle clamp ensures continuous potential equalisation in the module field – its function has been tested and confirmed by the VDE [German Association for Electrical, Electronic & Information Technologies]. The middle clamp ensures equalisation and thus considerably reduces the workload for the installer.
